Two routes of Sun Tran, the region’s public transit system, make regular stops at Tucson International Airport.
To reach the bus stop, use the west exit from the upper level (one floor up from baggage claim) and walk about 300 feet down the sidewalk.
Fare: Regular cash fare is $1.75. Exact change is required. Cash fare customers are required to pay fare for each leg of a trip. Cash fare for Express routes is $2.25. Visitors who plan on using the Sun Tran system can pre-purchase a SunGO fare card and have it mailed to them in advance of their trip. Fares paid with a SunGO card include transfers at no additional charge for up to two hours as long as the passenger is continuing in the same direction.

Both Sun Tran routes serving the airport generally operate every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. weekdays and every 60 minutes from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends and holidays.
- Route 11 travels north through mid-town along Palo Verde Road and Alvernon Way to the Tucson Jewish Community Center near Dodge Boulevard and River Road.
- Route 25 travels north along Park Avenue to the southside Laos Transit Center, 205 W. Irvington Road, and the downtown Ronstadt Transit Center, 215 E. Congress St., where transfers can be made to other routes.
