*Travelers and other visitors to Tucson International Airport (TUS) should allow a little extra time. A road maintenance project will narrow the entrance roadway to one lane as TUS begins its roadway rehabilitation work. Roadways leading to passenger pick up and drop off areas will be resurfaced between 6 pm and 4am from May 13th through July 18th. This project is aligned with the Tucson Airport Authority’s (TAA) dedication to the safety and modernization of TUS, ensuring an enhanced travel experience for passengers. During this construction project, all roads will still be available, however lanes will be reduced to one usable lane for entry.
*Starting on Friday, May 30th, the rental car return roadway and the cellphone waiting lot exit will be impacted by roadway work. During the construction process TUS will have detour signage to help travelers navigate with ease.
