Austin is Now Just One Plane Ride Away on Via Air

Via Air, a Florida-based airline, now flies nonstop between Tucson International Airport and Austin, Texas. The new flights are scheduled for 2 hours and 5 minutes, reducing the flight-time by about half of the previous connecting flight schedule of just over 4 hours.

The Austin flights operate Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays aboard 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

Via Air’s schedule:

Depart Tucson (TUS) 12:05 p.m. Arrive Austin (AUS)  4:10 p.m.
Depart Austin (AUS) 10:50 a.m. Arrive Tucson (TUS) 11:20 a.m.
