Drones/ UAVs

The Tucson Airport Authority supports the safe operation of drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), for recreation and commercial purposes. However, coordination is a MUST for the safety of all users.

There are many areas around both Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN) where it is not safe to fly drones because other aircraft are operating at low altitudes, usually making critical decisions regarding taking off or landing.

Please review the radius maps for TUS and RYN:
