General Airport Layout

More specific information is available on the pilot information page here and the airport services page here.

Ryan Airfield (RYN), along with Tucson International Airport (TUS), comprise the Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) airport system.

Ryan Airfield was created in the 1940s as a training camp for the Army Air Corps. After the war, the State of Arizona approached the TAA about operating the airfield. The state deeded the land to the City of Tucson and the TAA operates under a long-term lease.
