Airport Ambassadors

Here to help

The TUS Airport Ambassador program is temporarily suspended during this time of concern over person-to-person contact for possible exposure to the new coronavirus. A date for restarting the program has not been determined.

Looking for the nearest restroom? Wondering what carousel you will find your baggage? Look no further than a Tucson International Airport Volunteer Ambassador for help getting answers to these and other questions. You will be able to recognize a Volunteer Ambassador by the distinctive purple vest.

Want to Be an Ambassador?

The Tucson Airport Authority is looking for enthusiastic and happy volunteers to welcome and help travelers going through the terminal at Tucson International Airport. Ambassadors complete an orientation session on flight schedules, airline gate assignments, passenger support service locations, airport facilities, airport emergency procedures, tourism brochures, assisting customers with paging and getting to know airline and tenant representatives.

Two-hour shifts are available seven days a week and are especially needed during the airport’s busiest times of the day – early morning, mid-day and evenings.

If this is something you would like to do, please submit the interest form below. We look forward to meeting with you.
