Responsible for maintaining pavement, fencing, signage, markings, vegetation and equipment used at Tucson International Airport (TUS) and Ryan Airfield (RYN); ensure that TUS and RYN are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 139 and/or other applicable federal regulations and safety standards, respectively. Provide responsive and exceptional customer service.
A high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of three years experience in pavement repair, equipment operation, construction trades, including: carpentry, welding, plumbing, previous knowledge of the tools, materials, methods, and practices used in maintenance projects; basic computer skills and the ability to learn computer programs, and learn how to operate office machines.
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Class B CDL and annually maintain as directed.
Must pass an annual respirator fit test and properly use and wear respirators.
A valid Arizona Driver’s license is required for employment. Overtime is required if it is a business necessity. Ability to pass physical, comprehensive drug screen and police background investigation (to include wants & warrants & fingerprinting) is required for employment.
