Work has begun on another brand-new mural located near the parking garage at Tucson International Airport (TUS). This exciting project once again highlights the vibrant art of Victor Navarro. Measuring 208 square feet, this mural. titled “Tucson Reverie: A Vivid Tribute,” will showcase a handful of Tucson’s historic landmarks and the beautiful wildlife of Southern Arizona.

This initiative is part of Tucson Airport Authority’s ongoing efforts to bring Tucson’s artistic spirit into the airport, creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere for travelers. By working with local artists like Victor Navarro, TUS continues to celebrate the region’s creative talent and reinforce its connection to the community.

About Victor Navarro

Venturing into the artistic lifestyle at the age of 15, Victor began his art career as an exhibiting artist in Tucson, Arizona, soon after expanding his career to an international level. He graduated from The University of Arizona with his Bachelor of Fine Arts, received his Masters’s degree from Northern Arizona University, and Masters in Business Administration from Dubuque University; Navarro seized art teaching opportunities at various institutions, such as Pima Community College, Parks & Rec and Splendido. Victor’s diverse art forms have been exhibited in various renowned locations throughout his career. Some of these include the Carrousel Du LOUVRE Paris, International Academy of Lutece France, Taiwan at Sun Yat-sen National Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, and many more. Honored as the Arizona 2020 Governor’s Arts Awards | Philanthropist of the Year Award Recipient & Artist of the year; his paintings are inspired by diversity, identity, culture, and emotions. Navarro’s art has been featured at World Art Dubai. Becoming part of notable art collections such as the United States Ambassador’s residence in Abu Dhabi.
