Aeromar and United Plan Schedule Changes at Tucson International Airport
February 27, 2017
In response to demand, United Airlines and Aeromar revealed schedule changes today affecting their flights at Tucson International Airport.
After two years of seasonal service, United is going to keep its flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport year-round starting this summer. United is revitalizing its route network with more destinations, more flights and more convenient connections for customers in both domestic and international markets.
Aeromar, which inaugurated flights to Mexico on October 3, is readjusting its schedule in two steps. Effective immediately Aeromar is eliminating all service at Mazatlán. Then, effective March 30, Culiacán will replace Los Mochis on the route.
Aeromar officials say the schedule changes will give passengers direct access to Culiacán, the capital of Sinaloa and the state’s largest city, as well as reduce flying time for passengers traveling between Tucson and Guadalajara.
Aeromar schedule, effective March 31 – flights operate Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays:
|Depart Tucson (TUS)||1:40 p.m.*||
Arrive Hermosillo (HMO)
Arrive Culiacán (CUL)
Arrive Guadalajara (GDL)
Depart Guadalajara (GDL)

Arrive Tucson (TUS)
* Arrival and departure times at Tucson and Hermosillo are one hour later March 31 only.
Aeromar will continue to serve Los Mochis through March 30 when flight schedule will change to Culiacán.
The United schedule change was part of a broader announcement that included new service to 30 destinations across the U.S. – 12 of them at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, its largest hub.
