The 162nd Fighter Wing resides on 92 acres on the north end of Tucson International Airport. The unit trains U.S. and allied pilots in the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. Hundreds of visitors tour the base every year to get an up-close look at operations, maintenance and support functions. Public tours are scheduled based on date availability and operations tempo at the wing.
