Airport Ambassadors

The mission of the Tucson International Airport Ambassador Information Program is to provide information and assistance to the traveling public. Tucson International is looking for happy, enthusiastic and fun people to serve in the program. TAA's Volunteer Airport Ambassadors are an essential part of the services offered at TIA and provide travelers with a warm and friendly welcome to the "old Pueblo."

The Airport Ambassador Program was created in 2008 with the goal of providing directions to travelers and visitors to the airport as well as answering questions, and providing information about current events, entertainment and attractions available throughout Southern Arizona.

Ambassadors complete an orientation session on flight schedules, airline gate assignments, passenger support service locations, airport facilities, airport emergency procedures, computer usage, tourism brochures, using the public address system and getting to know airline and tenant representatives.

Tucson Airport Authority is currently looking for volunteers for two to four hour shifts during the busiest times of the day - early mornings and afternoons on weekdays and weekends.
