Tucson, Ariz. (July 19, 2012)- Mary Davis, senior director of business development and marketing for Tucson Airport Authority (TAA), was recently voted onto the board of directors for SALARA, Southern Arizona Lodging & Resort Association.
SALARA is a membership organization focused on fulfilling the local hotel and resort industry's education and advocacy needs.
Davis manages TAA's efforts related to commercial/industrial and air service business development, marketing, advertising, public, community and government relations.
She has extensive background working in government, nonprofit and for-profit companies in the areas of economic and business development, marketing and public relations. Davis currently serves on the local chapter and district board for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), as well as on the Tucson Rodeo Committee. She is also a volunteer with the Imagine Greater Tucson (IGT) visioning project, serving on the Public Outreach Committee.
"TAA is committed to working together with the organizations across the region that help drive air service demand and bring major economic impact to our community through travel. I'm honored to participate in SALARA's efforts," Davis said.
