TAA Seeks Art for Temporary Exhibits

   The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) has issued a Call to Artists residing in southern Arizona for temporary art exhibits at Tucson International Airport (TIA).

   TAA is now accepting proposals for temporary exhibits for the calendar year 2011 in the Upper and Lower Link Galleries at TIA, located at 7250 South Tucson Blvd.

   Artists interested in exhibiting at TIA should send a resume, artist statement, and five to ten labeled images to Temporary Exhibits Program, Tucson Airport Authority, 7005 S. Plumer Ave., Tucson AZ 85756 or e-mail

   Entry deadline October 31, 2010.

   The temporary exhibits program at Tucson International Airport is open to artists living in the airport's trade area: Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Santa Cruz Counties in Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Since the Authority initiated this community outreach program in 1991, it has hosted exhibits by hundreds of artists in the region.
