The lush landscapes of photographer Peter Kresan can be seen in the Center Gallery at Tucson International Airport through September 30. Mr. Kresan specializes in nature, desert landscapes, and national parks and monuments with a focus on geological features. He is a retired lecturer in Geosciences from the University of Arizona.
Among his lengthy credits are contributing editor for Arizona Highways Magazine, consultant and naturalist for The Desert Speaks TV program, and co-author of three editions of the Student Study Guide and Instructor Resource Manual for Understanding Earth.
In this exhibit, Mr. Kresan's color photographs depict the surreal beauty of Arizona from Paria Canyon to Aravaipa Creek to Reddington Pass. Along with breathtaking natural formations, desert flora features prominently in this show. Show stopping images of Sonoran desert wildflowers, Mexican poppies and the Sacred Datura flowers at the Grand Canyon are featured.
